Re: May it Rain 2014
I don't know what it's like down on the plains but up here in the hills its remarkably foggy after that never-ending severe drizzle event this afternoon. I went out to a meeting tonight and drove through extensive patches of fog along the way, both there and back, thick enough to make me slow down. Don't know how long that will last with the front approaching however.

I see Bunbury has been copping it with 50mm so far this morning. Wonder if anything it going to reach Perth?

Nah, the Force field is strong today! Pity could have used a decent downpour.

Re: May it Rain 2014
Lots of fog in the bad lands.
Just spotted an awesome display of layered pillius above some pumping Cu. Was over a large area. Looked great while it lasted.
Plenty of low fractus at around 100-200m near Alkimos.
Spotted a cool contrail earlier running Nth-Sth. Cold up there.

The rain bands keep doing the limbo just under my location.
I see Bunbury is about to get very wet again. Rain hogs!

About 30 minutes ago Marangaroo had a "mini" deluge with 2.5 mm falling in 3 minutes.

Getting great pics coming in of the cell east of Perth's north last night.
LW has set the bench mark though.

Yep that Pearce Ap cell looked nice on sunset
Vis is improving here at Perth Ap, some stratus around 600ft but lifting. I think obs will be quieter today, unless heating gets some cells/showers going
