There's a -8.1 at 20:15:53 and -5.4 at 20:16:25 here (Meeka Ap) tonight. I don't think I've seen a flare before, so hoping it's a good show :)

Just keep in mind that the brightness of the flare is very localized. You need to get predictions for you exact position. A kilometer or so makes a difference.
2006 - 543.5mm, 2007 - 701.5mm, 2008 - 833.5mm, 2009 - 579mm, 2010 - 631.5mm, 2011 - 872.5mm, 2012 - 770mm

2013 Jan 5mm YTD 5mm

The Heavens Above site is good for putting in your location and getting upcoming flare times.

Change your location under the Configuration heading and then click on Iridium Flares under Satellite heading.

cheers :)

Keep an eye on the sky tonight.
The second chance in as many days to see the hint of an aurora.

Mt Clarence Albany would be a great spot or Torbay. No, a dark walk to the wind farm with camera set up looking out to sea with those huge turbines whooshing nearby and a light show created by nature verses tha inta-galactics.
