I've had mine since Easter and it's awesome. I love it. It's sharp, oh so sharp. I wish the TC worked with it though, as sometimes I'm hanging for more than 300. I don't like the push-pull on the 400, so am hanging out for the new one.

However I can no longer find the quote in the link.
I googled green meteor. ( :lol: spell check doesn't recognise "googled" as a word :lol: )

However from Dec 8th there is this great capture described as a green fire ball. Watch the bottom left.

I have a feeling this is fake.


No one else in the world captured it with alllll those cameras pointed at the moon.
It does resemble a few Mcnaught comet pics with colour adjusted.

Geminids meteor shower?

I have seen similar effects before, usually when people are imaging Jupiter. It is, in my opinion, an internal reflection in the lens from a nearby bright lightsource. Because of the various coatings within the lens, green tends to be the dominant colour that shows up.
