Coral Sea Tropical Low

Postby Fu Manchu » Sat Apr 05, 2014 8:03 pm

Have been watching this for a couple of days and it looks well set up to go large.
Current forecast track favouring a Cat 3 system by the 8th.
A Cat4 possible you reckon? I think so.
A solid westerly track going into WA waters? Certainly seems on for reaching the Gulf easy enough.

We're supposed to get 100mm on Sunday though not sure if it is to do with that low ? And supposedly we live in the dry tropics. The climate is a changing.
Yeppoon Annual Average Rainfall is (BOM) = 982.5mm
2012 Yeppoon 976.8mm
2014:1114.2mm

I'm thinking STC Ita is gonna pack a real punch. Good luck to all who will be affected.

I think it must have got nervous and let go with all the attention!

If I'm in with the sane, does that make me insane?
