Hi all,

Sorry been awhile since I've posted lol. We flew in to LA then Wichita, Kansas on tuesday night here. It was snowing too! Light stuff though and snow in April for Kansas is uncanny, here are some records that we got to experience :) http://blogs.kansas.com/weather/2013/04 ... ate-april/

Wednesday Hannah surprised us with a visit to Brandon Ivey's house of which TIV is parked out front! Sean Casey keeps it at his place ready for any chasing to come up.

Image

Thursday (now the end of today) we have setup the car for chasing and planning to chase tomorrow, setup isn't mega but we may see some severe cells, possible supercells, depending on shear direction, that may drop some fairly good size hail.

Also, Mel has been doing a blog for work (school), here is the link below:

Chase No. 1 Fri 26/04/2013 Central West Oklahoma. What an awesome catch of a HP supercell today :D

We started off in southern Ok due to earlier models suggesting initiation around southern Ok/northern Tx border. As the day moved on the model moved up into central Ok then edged closer to central west Ok. We drove up around Elk City/Chickasha region for the cells that fired up NW of around there.

Here's some pics of the day

Hmm it's a bit quiet atm for chasing :(. There is the possibility for storms tomoz though. Looks like a cut off low will bring another cold snap this week, so hopefully next week will be the go for chasing.

We went and checked out the Alamo yestie in San Antonio :) . Arrived in Austin just before and staying the night.
