Perth climate before climate shift mid 70s

Postby Vinny » Mon Jun 04, 2012 7:11 pm

My question is regarding the rainfall before the climate shift in the mid 70's.

Was the rainfall in Perth in winter before the mid 70's (from what you can remember) heavier in winter, like for example did you get bigger amounts of rain from cold fronts than you get now like 20mm from one front, 20mm from another - were cold fronts more stronger ?

Thanks for any responses.

Yeppoon Annual Average Rainfall is (BOM) = 982.5mm
2012 Yeppoon 976.8mm
