Yeah I know and now we can gather the bits and incorporate them into here :)
Maybe look at moving the thread into this section? It could be some good practice for silver cloud :)

layout is good, the main problem is we only have 4 weather stations, or 3 now tim has gone, if some country people join up we may have a few more, and look at pushing the city folk to get one going, is plenty of free programs on net the can be used to upload a banner, and a good stater station for under $100

You need to have a banner that our server can link to. So we need our people to be able to talk to your people somehow :)

Pete do you have a station or have someone in mind, if so the banner needs to be uploaded to the web and then I can grab the url and link it to here, for example mine is located here http://www.paulnock.net/station/summary.gif and I put that in the image html {img}http://www.paulnock.net/station/summary.gif{/img} (Use straight brackets) and banner will show as a picture as in my signature, (my station isn't on ATM)

My weather station website:

1 minute updates

Will send you a weather underground banner link soon

I also automatically post to Twitter @glnfrrstweather every 30 minutes (can be more frequent during weather events)

Hey guys my current weather station is broke. So am looking at getting a new one.
I had a oregan scientific wireless station, and I loved it. But was wondering if any of you could suggest anything better.

I am 2 weeks away from moving into my new place and want a new you-beaut weather station to install when I get there. So any suggestions would be great :)
I will also eventually install a lightning detector to sister the one that Chaser80 has in Floreat (apparently they can talk to each other and become more accurate?) Also a webcam, but first I want a weather station. I have looked at the Davis Vantage Vu, and its looks pretty good, but other suggestions would be great. Wireless or Wired ;)

Many thanks in advance
