Still awaiting the first summer storm. There were several great ones right around this time in mid to late January last year.

Where has the weather gone.....

I'm sure there used to regular, may be once a week, times where we would watch the pff scare of storms.
Now the pff has been expanded to the swldff....

Wow... seems pretty quite around here now! Weather has been pretty boring. I guess we are all awaiting something decent to happen!

Hey, thought I'd stick my head in door again. Anyone around?

The next week is looking promising again on the west coast. Another low drifting off the Nw, just like last week only even more so! Interesting to see what eventuates.

Flood warning Perth metro. Cant say i recall ever hearing that for a long time. Interesting few days ahead. Although i did wonder why they put those "100yr flood" bands around the lamposts along the river in Basso last yr..

Rain picking up now, if it persists all day I can't see temps going over 18-19c which will easily break records.

I was up in Mundaring today, 13c, rainy and breezy in the middle of a Perth summer was a bizarre experience.

Yeah just had another heavy 10mm in 10mins in Nollamara and is set to hit the Mt Lawley gauge which is already 65mm. Should be 75-80 before that major band hits
