Heavy shower through West Leederville. But nothing through the city.

There was a temporary breakdown of the Northern suburbs force field this morning. This allowed a thunderstorm and shower to cross over my suburb. There was 4.5 mm of rain in my rain gauge at 9.00 am and there has been a trace since.

I wonder how close to the predicted landfall he will be. Cyclones can be precocious beasties when they want to be haha

The people in Marble Bar will be bringing out their jumpers tomorrow as the forecast maximum there is only 32°C. A little matter of about 25 mm of rain is expected to fall as a result of the tropical Low.

It's a boy! BOM have announced that the tropical storm has reached Cyclone intensity and we now have TC Stan.

TC Stan is expected to visit Port Hedland as a tourist about noon tomorrow. See track map from BOM;

Still need to question the BOM's policy/logic on the progressive rollout of the doppler radars, you'd think a place like Port Hedland/Karratha would be getting one first over Kalgoorlie?! They could use one on a day like today.
People argue, Nature acts.
