been the coldest winter I can remember here in Albany for a long while
well at least the last two months have been cold
had a fairly mild autumn
you can never always sometimes tell
when you least expect the most

We just had a freezie shower. it's way too cold for it to be just a coldie shower. It sounded like there was possibly small hail along with the heavy rain.

21 mm rain here in Bayonet Head, 21.8 mm at the airport
has mostly cleared for now, waiting for next system
was pretty chilly last night, and a light dusting of snow on Bluff Knoll

Thought it was a mistake when I saw 26 deg forecast today for Perth.
Yeppoon Annual Average Rainfall is (BOM) = 982.5mm
2012 Yeppoon 976.8mm
2014:1114.2mm

Collie temp has gone from 2deg. at 7am to ---22.8deg at noon--- the Locals are walking around in distress under the bright sunshine--- we have not had a Sunny Day in 3Months.

The latest satellite photo shows tomorrow"s cold looking impressive. Indeed we may get more rain than is forecast by BOM.

And now for something completely unexpected a real cold front in August.

It thought we were doomed to getting only Cut off lows this winter.
