Nice one Floppy! I didn't get to see it til it was past the peak. We were doing crowd control and exclusion zone for fireworks which were on at the same time.

It seems people are off doing other things alot recently, but I thought I'd just mention that this week is looking promising for rain over a few days. Cyclone Ikola is stirring things up and looks like affecting much of the west coast. Wouldn't mind a good drop for a change - hopefully the forcefield maintenance has been forgotten and it breaks down about now. ;)

It's looking like the forcefield maintenance crew is on holidays. Lets hope they stay on holidays ;)

Sir, the Northern suburbs rain deflector field has suffered a malfunction and rain is falling in the suburbs of Marangaroo and Greenwood. it looks like a replacement part may take the best part of a week to arrive.

The sky reticulation has stuck on overnight but I am not complaining. There is 9.5 mm in the rain gauge.

Currently there is a fine drizzle.

BOM have scaled back their rainfall expecation for Perth. Not sure why. To me it's looking more promising all the time...

Steady rain is falling here in Marangaroo and we got 5 mm in the rain gauge to 9.00 am.

Looking at the radar my regular Thursday tennis is off today.
