Its tracking well to Perth. For some reason I feel far more confident that BOM is. Heating is still there and the instability is there so I cannot see any reason why this would weaken.

Adam I agree with you fella... It's still 32+ outside, humidity is there... And it's pretty dark to the north!!

Yep me too. No sea breeze to screw things up, so here's hoping for some action.

In Carramar, a couple of big gusts and a bit of rain and occasional Lightning, but nothing special....sorry! Could still be early in the piece, though....

Winds are up there with the worst of winter storms imo. Why no STW is beyond me.

Lots of small branches and debris scattered around South Perth back streets with the initial gusts. Some nice forks over the city watching from the foreshore earlier. No rain here yet.

BoM must be confident it's not going to hammer Perth... much.

Hail in Scarborogh earlier.

One of our poor followers on Twitter had some damage in Leighton. They had a glass of wine get knocked over by the wind.
They are ok.

Just got my car peppered by flying gumnuts/branches, car swerving due to wind. Winds are on par if not worse than winter storms. Not sure if I was in a microburst or just edge of the wind because one second it was a normal calm summer night, nek minut roads filled with plant debris.

Out using the BBQ during the worst of it near Ocean Reef. A lot of lightning and super annoying wind gusts. Fairly heavy rain. Didn't last long but it's still growling out there.

Rain free period for Marangaroo starts again from tomorrow. There is about 3 mm in the rain gauge and it is still raining steadily.

We missed out last Thursday.
