Albany & South Coast Winter 2014

Winter has started off with 1 1/2 mm for the first two days
however Monday ( yesterday ) was a mostly sunny day and I got the lawns mowed
a few showers in the late afternoon and overnight
you can never always sometimes tell
when you least expect the most

5 mm in the gauge at 7am this morning and its been blowing a gale here today
at 7am there was 3.6 mm in the BoM gauge at the airport
you can never always sometimes tell
when you least expect the most

17.6 mm at the airport at 7am

still a few showers around but the high is moving in
so things are clearing
1/2 mm since yesterday, however the airport had 7.4mm
you can never always sometimes tell
when you least expect the most

well while everyone else got blasted from the latest system
here in Bayonet Head, Albany we got 1/2 mm, 0.8mm at the airport
however it looks like the fun is over and the rain is starting again
you can never always sometimes tell
when you least expect the most

clearing today and wind has settled down
11.5 mm here and 8.4 mm at the airport
still a few showers around tho
you can never always sometimes tell

a sunny morning albeit quite windy with gusts up to 60 km/hr
rain came in the afternoon with some pretty heavy falls
you can never always sometimes tell
when you least expect the most

well after a very wild and woolly night, with thunder hail, strong winds and heaps of rain
there was 29 mm in our gauge

the Albany airport had 26.8 mm to 8 am with some wind gusts reaching 65 km/hr

still a few showers around

11 mm here from the last front and boy is it chilly out or what
dropped down to about 9 degrees here
wasn't too bad around 4 am

7.8 mm at the airport and got down to 6.5 degrees at 7:30 this morning

got home from work and emptied 7 1/2 mm from the gauge
just as the next lot hit Albany

WZ showing lightning around Walpole moving our way
radar showing some fairly heavy falls along the Sth Coast
you can never always sometimes tell
when you least expect the most
