So nice and sunny in Perth this morning. If the front delivers with minimal pre frontal acitvity it will be a bit of a shock for people on the weekend which havn't seen the forecast.
Hoping for a bit of respite from the wind though, the 72mm on one day with the last front combined with standard winter winds managed to bring down a massive 40 year old peppermint tree in my garden, will take a few days with the chainsaw to chop it up. Looks like clear weather is forecasted from late Sunday onwards.

Absolutely shocking going down the freeway this arvo. Was driving towards Perth from South when the first band hit mainly affected SOR which reflects current totals, road's couldn't cope at all, couldn't go more than 50 for a fair few minutes as wipers were on max an still visibility was ~10m. A couple of big potholes also popped up on the same route back :-? Short duration but very intense rain in the middle that band. Some idiot in a 4wd was trolling everyone and swerving into puddles(more like mini lakes) on purpose, or maybe he was clearing them  , one splash managed to get up so high and land onto his roof. The underside of my car sure got a clean with that.
