Whoa, what a long day.
Severe Thunderstorms in the Pilbara and Gascoyne earlier today. Cancelled now. No massive rainfall recorded from what I can find.

Hi all,

there has been waterspout sightings over the last two days.

This pic was taken by Michael Beazley 10.18am this morning at Dawesville Cut (image cropped). He and Candice saw 4 spouts in total.

Cheers for posting.
Mike would have been pretty stoked to spot that.
Was working near Freo way today but only saw the top half of the Cu that squeezed out a funnel today. Ben Clark was all over it like white on rice when he saw the funnel

Some ugly weather may occur today with the passing of the front to the South of WA and also up in the Kimberley and interior there will be storms about later.

Thunderstorms look, at this stage, likely to only come as far north as Mandurah (at this stage) Albany, Bunnas & Dunnas, and Busselton can expect blowy crap conditions which is just what we love the most.

It's been raining on and off all day today. It's not feeling too cold though. Loving the sound of the rain on my tin roof.

Still looks pretty dry down there from those pics in Frankland, hope they get something to green things up. Perth area is looking good cause of the big soaking we had at the start of the month + on off showers for almost this whole month so far and mild temps.

I got a nice 5mm out of that lot. Looked like rubbish on the radar, though.

I think Donnybrook might have been the rain burglar this time - 35.2mm yesterday and overnight.

Hasn't stopped raining for hours in Perth's Northern suburbs.
I can see the boundaries of the cloud band, the clear sky surrounding. This has parked up over shitsville and won't go away.
