Pretty cool how we have overtaken 2013's rainfall to the end of May in the hills. Especially after the exceptionally dry start of autumn. Seems like BOM's prediction for a wetter than average May June July is shaping up to be spot on ;)

Perth radar is definitely under reporting some showers IMO. Marangaroo just had a real deluge for 5 minutes and the radar only showed lightish rain falling.

Coptercam looks like a serious bit of RC kit! Love to own one.
I'd love to see the results of one flying around this! http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/m ... MP=ema_632

Looks like its affecting flights in and out of Darwin

Rainfall stats for Perth Metro & Perth Airport for May:

Perth Metro; Monthly total = 152.6mm, Average = 90.5mm
Perth Airport; Monthly total = 118.0mm from TBRG (125.2mm from manual raingauge), Average = 99.7mm

Hope June totals get above average too

Also we need a title for June's thread, start naming ppl :)
