Down at Burns and this cell is vacuuming in air.
Lightning is veiled by rain.
Eastern flank is developing well. Illuminated by the city lights.

Expect a line to form and move through many coastal Southern suburbs deli info a Shinto load of rain.

Gotta love the reactive forecasting from the BOM.

The 4.20pm forecast indicated partly cloudy with isolated thunderstorms to the east. Thunderstorms develop to the west over Rottnest. Thunderstorms start developing over the south suburbs so the BOM updates the forecast to indicate isolated thunderstorms in the southern suburbs. Now there is a storm developing over the northern suburbs.

I know it must be difficult to forecast, but its fun to watch.
