lol we had 28 deg at 9 o clock but it is still 28 degrees. Not the same as in Perth where if it is hot in the morning it will be a scorcher. Interesting to see what the beach areas get , today in Perth will a seabreeze come in ?

Eneabba looking at a maximum of 47ºC today.
Wouldn't take much to nudge that to 49ºC, though forecasters would have forecasted a higher temp if that was likely. :)

Seabreeze is in at Gero so temps will start to come down soon.
I'd not be surprised to see a sea breeze here in Perth soon.
Swanbourne was the hottest place in the Lower west at 39.6ºC

I think the cooling effect of a seabreeze will only get to areas west of the freeways. Anything that makes it east will just be a hot wind.

Though if it hits over 42C at Swanbourne which it most likely will it won't cool down much.

It's just hitting my place now. My max is 46.6c. Airport has another 30 minutes or so left.

There is a narrow line of convection starting in the Pilbara and running south along the trough line to near Gero.

Floreat station showing 51 on MetEye at the moment. Obviously a malfunction of some kind, when others are only showing 41 at the moment.

There's a fire in that area, I bet that is what has caused the higher temperatures. Apparently it is threatening homes and buildings and Challenge Stadium has been evacuated.

I am sure the built upness of Success and Cockburn Central makes it hotter down there, all the concrete, knocking down trees for housing developments and then people in our street used to knock down trees for greenwaste removal. Concrete jungle. I never remember a seabreeze down there 10km's inland.... but definitely at Beeliar.

Double brick houses are a pain when the min temp will be 28 for Perth sometime after midnight lol.
