weather in and around Albany the last few days has been partly cloudy, warm ( low 20's ) and not too breezy
we are forecast showers on Sun & Mon but the rest is all "partly cloudy" with temps around 22 - 24

on a different note for boxing day I bought us a twin tuner TV DVD recorder with 500 gb HDD
and with a bit of fiddling with wires and cables and using the old set top box as well
we can watch one channel and record two other channels
this is good for those rare occasions when there is something on TV worth watching
because Murphy's law states
when there is something worth watching on TV
at least one other channel will have something at the same time as well
