How long does the video go for? I got a pretty shitty internet monthly allowance.

 Definitely. Totally amazed at the microburst, it was so fast! It really shows you what danger these kind of storms can put you in. Thanks for sharing, Rusted.

Wow that is some pretty intense footage, especially when that microburst hit, simply gobsmacking   . Thanks for sharing

It just goes to show why this invisible sudden down draft is so extremely dangerous, especially around airports. I've been in one here and you don't even have time to think, you just watch in awe as the tops of trees get ripped straight off in one mind blowing destructive blast

Thanks alot, I didn't include the footage of us running through the house for cover truly because of the language and emotion in the next 20 minutes. Running to the front of your house and seeing your roof drifting across the street isn't the most comforting thing...

Holy crap Rusted!!! I hope they are not far off fixing your house up by now, that sucks.. If we ever had something like that come through Perth the amount of damage it would cause would be unbelievable, the roof of that shed is lifted up and thrown like it's paper...

Rusted From the Rain wrote:Hey guys, was promising to upload a video of the January storm with 165km/h winds since february and never did it. I showed it to Fu Manchu and Lady Nicole, but it is for everyone to see. Mind the coarse language and distressed nature of the footage.

Microburst at about 9 mins, with footage of a shed flying over a house. Scary stuff.

The video is here. http://waweathergroup.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1226&p=46241#p46241

That video was insane! Never seen anything quite like it. Thanks so much for sharing it. I think would have said more colourful language than that if I was that close. We'll have to send the forcefield over to you & Nicole for a while, help you guys out.

A little late Rusted, but that footage was awesome. My nine year old brother was on the sofa next to me and he was cracking up laughing whenever he heard you swear. I have never seen footage of a cyclone, let alone been in one, but that was insane how it went dark that quick. Was there much damage to your house after the storm? My friend was in the storm down south, her sister nearly dided in the storm after she was hit in the head with a bit of loose tin.
