About 10mm here. Can't see where those supposed storms are going to come from, though?

Come from the cold pool. The cold pool behind the trough has been quite storm active over the last two days.
Was cool seeing the moisture NW of Perth just explode in volume along the weakening frontal line last night.

Here is the unexpected hail on Toodyay rd I encountered while going on a quick detour from Midland. Saw the cell forming nicely and decided to chase it into the hills. I jumped ahead of it and pulled over to an Parking area and watched it. Rain got very heavy but wasnt expecting hail.

Here is the video.

There appears to be a line drizzle approaching the Metro area.

We have had a couple of brief showers. Now we are experiencing the "dreaded driving drizzle".

I got a pleasant surprise when I checked the rain gauge. I expected maybe 0.5mm but there is 2.0mm in there.

I just went outside and checked the rain gauge and there is 3.0mm in it. I was expecting 1.0mm but I am not complaining.

The sky to the NW and SW were looking very grey so I expect we will get more rain soon.

It is currently raining and I have a "vague" feeling that Lawn Bowls Pennant Practice this afternoon probably won't happen.

Pretty quiet in here these days? Good bank of rain movin in from the west. There was also some weak suggestion of storm development in the wheatbelt this avo too.

Mmm, hopefully it holds itself together. If it makes it it should rain for quite a while.

It has been raining in Marangaroo continuously since 3.00pm. Before then there were regular showers. When I looked at the rain gauge at 9.00pm there was 10.5mm.

Looking at the latest satellite photo the rear edge of the front has only just passed Busselton so it looks liike it will rain for quite a few more hours.

It was so "disappointing" to "only" get 13mm here in Marangaroo.
