Just had a period of drizzle which dampened the path but put next to nothing in the rain gauge.

Some more about to come through on this weakish frontal line. Saw a little convection SW off Cott beach earlier on but pretty meh.

It looks like there will a nice drop of rain for Perth from Tuesday afternoon to Wednesday morning. A rain band is expected to form on the next cold front with the bulk of the rain falling between Dongarra and Mandurah according to the rainfall model on BOM;

Today I am a rain "God". I am running the reticulation to find which sprinklers need attention. So far I have found 5 sprinklers that did not spray water as required so I fixed them.

Today's front looks pretty good for this time of year.

As was pointed out on the WAWG twitter feed earlier, nice looking development rain wise to the NW - http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/PS/TROP/gglcontent/sind.gif

Perth radar is starting to show the leading edge of the band... good ol solid rain hopefully :)

It has just started raining here in Marangaroo. While I was out watering the horses I could hear drops hitting the metal roof of the shed but for a good 30 seconds no drops hit me.
