sheesh, you should move to NZ floppy, plenty of sunshine over here, not much stable ground but thats another story.
Kia Kaha, stay strong, live long and above all have fun.

grew up in NZ, spent first 35 yrs of my life there
and yes I know about shaky ground
we lived in Taranaki for 7 years
the photo here was pretty much our viw from the front door

here is the full size pic

looks cold doesn't it, and our rainfall was in metres not millimetres

lets see..... last official day of summer me thinks
how can we sum up Albany's weather
"overcast and easterlies" pretty well sums it up
warm humid nights, day temps - mid twenties
not a lot of rain, in fact I cannot remember the last decent front
which is the problem I think
currently 21.2, overnight 20.0
and guess what ??? overcast and gusty easterlies
I don't know how much more of this excitement I can take
the wind picked up quite quickly around 3 am, currently 24 / 33 km/hr at the airport

...and you moved to Albany because?!
Your not wanted by the Kiwi police for stealing post boxes or anything are you?
I heard there's a huge black market in kiwi paraphernalia over in Oz, that's the reason why 'kiwi crossing' signs are now padlocked onto sign posts.

Re: Albany & South Coast : Summer 2010 / 2011
the rainfall was about 1/2 of what it was when we left
unfortunately Albany's rainfall seems to have decreased further
and no I don't have any Kiwi paraphenalia

I had better be - I just started a new thread for Autumn and I'm getting sick and tired of typing
"overcast, windy and drizzle"
we need a really decent front to come along and clear things up

Will be in Albany for the final week of March. Will be looking forward to the weather down there. Hopefully just in time for the first moderate cold front of the upcoming winter...
Least Albany wasnt as hot as Perth over the summer.
