Woohoo! Thanks for sharing my photos :) Wish I'd gotten more of a chance to get better photos, lightning too... just didn't come together for me.

Heading to Cocos in a week, looking forward to some weather there. I miss the cyclone up north, and I'm now missing one passing south of Cocos too. By days!

Sunset in Karratha last night. There was regular lightning to the south after sunset as well.

Keep an eye on the developing monsoon trough.
A possible sneaky low expected to move west over the weekend and could be something to watch for possible development next week.

Today, a few storms spreading into the Kimberley from the NT.

Interesting, a low pressure system in the Indian Ocean of 1002 and another north west cloud band rolling in, poor tourists and grey nomads are in for wet one this dry season :lol:
