Confirmed snow - in report in Albany Advertiser Tues 26 June. Dusting of snow remaining overnight on Bluff Knoll about a week ago - no precise date/time but would have been Thursday 21st of June (see my post above). Lucky group of school kids from Mandurah were able to enjoy on summit before it melted in rising temps. Sounds like it was one of the better dustings in last several years.

Interesting read there Fu. Wish I'd been alive in 1950. Haha, way before my time. :P
Anyway, been a cold, wet and windy day in Albany. Heavy showers around but they've been quite isolated. Winds reached 60km/h this afternoon with the passage of that secondary front. Quite a blustery day.
Currently 10.6 degrees, overnight low was 13.2 degrees, today's max was 16.5 degrees
Humidity 70%

Today started off partly cloudy and cool but drizzle developed by mid-morning and increased to light showers this afternoon. Intermittent showers going over now, most are light. This weather will clear the south coast by Tuesday and a return to sunny conditions into next week with cool to cold nights likely.

Been a nice day, there was some very early drizzle but that cleared to a mild and mostly sunny day. Clear skies out there now. Should be a return to rainy conditions tomorrow as a cold front moves up from the southwest. The weather should clear completely by Tuesday morning on the south coast and cold mornings are likely after that.
Currently 11.0 degrees, overnight low 10.0 degrees, today's max 17.6 degrees.
Humidity 98%
Pressure 1026hPa and rising

It was a clear, sunny day after a cool start. Light N'ly winds about which really dried the lower levels out so the LCL was quite high today. Should be another cold night tonight. And for people who are interested, the moon sets at 6:30am tomorrow morning. Good photo op.
Currently 7.2 degrees, overnight 4.0 degrees, today's max 18.6 degrees

Been a sunny day in Albany after another cold start. Sunny conditions and cold mornings will continue for the south coast until Friday when rain is expected to return. Frosts are possible across inland susceptible areas tomorrow morning so stay warm. Also some high cloud coming over on the satellite image so could be a nice sunrise shoot. :)
Currently 6.1 degrees, overnight low 3.9 degrees, today's max 17.0 degrees
Humidity 90%
Pressure 1023hPa and steady

The day has been pretty boring weatherwise, but otherwise it hasn't been the best of days as mentioned in the southern WA thread. We started off with a cool morning with high cloud about, which increased during today. It seems to have cleared temporarily but that front and rain doesn't look to far away.
Currently 9.1 degrees, overnight low 4.5 degrees, today's max 18.6 degrees
Humidity 75%
Pressure 1019hPa and falling
Winds N'ly at 6.7km/h

It started off looking stormy but we only had light rain for a few hours before it cleared early this afternoon. Showers returned this evening and the wind has also shifted around to the W, should shift S/SW overnight and then S'ly tomorrow as that high moves further north. For the south coast, the high will drag cold air up from the south during tomorrow so showers will continue with hail developing tomorrow night. Those conditions will continue on Sunday but a rapid easing trend is likely tomorrow night so Monday morning is likely to be very cold and if the current models hold, then widespread frost is a possibility.
Currently 13.3 degrees, overnight low 8.9 degrees, today's max 16.8 degrees
Humidity 100%
Pressure 1017hPa and falling
Winds W'ly at 3.2km/h
0.5mm of rain to 9am, 6.5mm since

Been raining all day with brief breaks. Showers have been heavier at times, but mostly light today. Just steady stuff. Humidity has been high all day but it's dropped as the wind has finally picked up, now blowing a steady S'ly. As the air clears this evening it should make way for cold air cells to push their way up over the south coast during the early hours of tomorrow morning. Showers will be heavier with possible thunder and hail likely tomorrow morning.
Currently 9.8 degrees, overnight low was 10.7 degrees, today's max was 13.4 degrees
Humidity 95%
Pressure 1016hPa and steady
Winds S'ly at 10km/h
15mm of rain to 9am, 5mm since (still raining steadily)

It was a cold and showery day in Albany, no thunder and hail eventuated that I know of. Could of happened between midnight and 6am but I was oblivious to the world during those hours. :P Winds have been gusty SW/SE'lies today but they've just shifted round to the NE/NW as that high rapidly pushes in.

Another cool and partly cloudy day. Cloud gradually cleared this evening and the humidity dropped dramatically here as the winds shifted N/NE and stayed that way. High cloud coming over here now and we should get some rain tomorrow.
Currently 9.4 degrees, overnight low 3.2 degrees, today's max 15.3 degrees

Yet another cool and partly cloudy except it was high cloud we had covering the sky today. No rain but there was a lot of virga. Tomorrow should change as the S/SE winds come through and we get some decent showers.
Currently 10.0 degrees, overnight low 5.8 degrees, today's max 14.8 degrees

Not long after I wrote last night's post the showers came in on the southerly change and around 1am onwards they got quite heavy as well as gusty S'lies reaching near 50km/h at times. The day dawned partly cloudy, wet and still quite windy. We had a few light showers today but they became infrequent and more isolated by mid-morning and mostly cleared this arvo. Showers are back now, just light isolated stuff, not a lot of depth to the bases on the satellite image.
Currently 10.7 degrees, overnight low 10.4 degrees, today's max 15.1 degrees
Humidity 92%
Pressure 1022hPa and rising
Winds S'ly at 10.2km/h
9mm of rain to 9am, 1.5mm since

Been a partly cloudy day with isolated showers about, we had a few light showers at our place but most skimmed around. This afternoon the LCL lifted as the S'lies became drier and the showers eased. Mostly clear skies out there now and the wind's shifted again.
Currently 10.5 degrees, overnight low 10.1 degrees, today's max 15.7 degrees
Humidity 95%
Pressure 1025hPa and steady
Winds W/NW at 2.5km/h
No rain to note since 9am

It was a mostly sunny day actually, there was a bit of cloud cover at times but mostly sunny. Winds were gusty W/NW'lies which lifted the humidity so cloud bases were considerably higher than yesterday and also had that mid-level look to them. Should get some rain toward the end of the weekend and into next week.
Currently 12.8 degrees, overnight low 8.4 degrees, today's max 17.5 degrees
Humidity 68% (much lower than last night)
Pressure 1020hPa and falling
Winds W/NW at 11.2km/h
No rain

We started off with drizzle this morning and overcast conditions but that rapidly cleared as the W/NW winds picked up and the dew point dropped. Cloud mostly cleared by this afternoon and pretty much clear conditions out there now. Tomorrow a cold front will cross the coast, probably will move through Albany between 8am and 12pm. Showers will occur on the front with possible thunderstorms.
Currently 13.0 degrees, overnight low 11.5 degrees, today's max 18.0 degrees
Humidity 85%
Pressure 1017hPa and falling
Winds W/NW at 9.7km/h
1mm of rain to 9am, none since
