Winds shifted around to the NE again early this evening and have strengthened in the last half hour. Tomorrow is going to be a scorcher and not a good day for fighting fires.

Another very hot, dry, windy day. For the record, the past two days have been Albany's hottest March days since 1969. And our hottest two consecutive days since 1996.
Winds were quite gusty, around 20 - 40km/h for most of the day. No seabreeze eventuated. The humidity has been around 5 - 10% for most of the day, its been rising steadily since the sun went down.
Hopefully we get some decent showers tomorrow. At the least, a cool and fresh S'ly change will develop during tomorrow morning.

It started off partly cloudy with very low cloud near the coast. It was quite surreal watching the stratus and fog swirling around Oyster Habour this morning. It was still as, even the water wasn't moving. I took a photo of the harbour, it's in the southern WA thread. Weatherwise, we had light showers and drizzle around but nothing substantial eventuated. We really need a decent pour down...
