NT Weather of worth

Darwin recorded it;s highest min temp for July today of 25.8 at 7am, previous record of 25.1 in 1955 I think.
And yes it was warm :twisted:

Um.........no.

But, when I was 15 I wanted to be a Meteorologist, until I realized that I would have to go to Year 12 and then do Territary training, plus I not good at darts :lol: (joking).

Some nice storm yesterday, this one looked good but, soon ran out of puff and I watched it dissolve before my eyes :o

Had 38mm in a small storm last night, had a flang hit either the house behind or next street over just as I was setting up the tripod on the back verandah. Talk about retina burn and almost shi#*en me pants :shock: Had about 700 strikes, got some below:

Awesome pics. If it wasn't for the humidity and surfboard sized flying cockroaches I could almost live up there and enjoy those storms haha

Nah, the humidity aint that bad. 9am 29 degrees and 75% in my bedroom at the moment :lol: . Usually when there is a flang fest happening you kinda forget about the humidity, until it all stops then realise how wet with sweat you are :shock:

Good storm yesterday, 57mm for me and about 5000 cg's recorded in the Greater Darwin area for 24hrs :shock:
