Thanks pistolknight, have changed my thread from Severe thunderstorms in Albany to Severe thunderstorms in Southern WA so more people can post on the thread regarding tomorrow's storms. :)

I think Albany was fine if you want to post about Albany, I love Albany and spend a week or so there every year, stay at King River Palms, you will find the site a lot Perth orientated Pete, and some of them city folk don't know we are here  but we will soldier on, we are starting to get a few members down south and I think soon I will arrange a military coup and over throw the hierarchy   But I will start a section for south of Perth Weather and them city folk will come and have a sneaky look at what's happening in our thread, because we have the best weather and events :P

Not sure breaking things up is a good idea. I mean right now we have southern and Northern weather. Very few of our Northern members use it and Northern weather is often discussed in Southern weather due to relevance to the South. In the end it puts a wall between us.
I have been wondering the relevance of a Northern weather section and just have a general weather discussion. Having a separate South Coast thread will get hard to keep the info there because of the same issue with relevant posts going into Southern weather.

In time as our member numbers grow these are great ideas.
Maybe West Coast weather,Interior and North west weather, Southcoast weather, Southwest weather. We would need better numbers to make it work.

We are a small forum after all.

So I'm thinking about buying a weather station :) I'm not a total cheapass, but i don't want to go and fork out $300 or something silly.

I am looking at this: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/New-Wireless-Tou ... 335d4ef661

So basically what i want to know is, is that a piece of crap or will it work alright? I know next to nothing about Weather stations and I'm thinking of upgrading from me $5 temp meter i've been using  You guys are the pro's so let me know what you think ;)
