Rare 'right moving' Supercell near Cadoux in the Central Wheatbelt - 24th February 2007 - Copyright: Tim Slade

This storm was actually the 'twin' of another much more intense 'left moving' Supercell, unfortunatly we didnt know this at the time as our view of its twin was hidden by this beasts rain curtain (as it turned out the left mover travelled into an area with little or no roads, which I refer to as the 'dead zone'). This taken from the BoM's Significant Weather Summary for that day: " On the 24th a severe thunderstorm developed to the southeast of Dalwallinu and split into two cells. The left moving supercell persisted for 4 hours before moving outside the Perth radar coverage. It produced 69mm of rainfall at Mouroubra and 61mm at Bimbijy, both in the Central Wheatbelt. "
